We at George Telegraph believe in the end result. We not only hand out certificates, but we also help our students to get foothold for themselves in the industry and carve out a niche for themselves in the society, and live respectfully with their heads held high up.

The George Telegraph Training Institute has a professionally managed Public Relations Department, which not only handles media communications but also consists of a Corporate Communication Cell and a Placement Cell dedicated to their respective areas of service. The Corporate Communication Cell maintains a close liaison with various industries to facilitate placement of our students after their course. This Cell also arranges hands on training for our students in different industries related to their field of studies.

Corporate Communications Placements

Placements in GTTI is a two-tier activity and placements are handled both locally and centrally. While each centre liaises with the industry and provides placement assistance to its students, the centralised Placement Cell at Kolkata also maintains a computerised database of all registered students and offers proactive support in placing the candidates. Any former student of the Institute may register at the Placement Cell, provided the alumnus can produce the relevant mark sheets of both academic and vocational qualification along with proof of age. Our placement cell remains in continuous touch with our students and maintains a database of successful students and organises campus interviews. After completion of a course, students are trained on how to apply for jobs and face interviews. Their personal grooming is also taken care of. Our Placement Cell is unique as it not only provides free service to our students, but also attempts to build a lifelong bond by assisting in placement throughout the working life of our alumni.

The heritage and the reputation of the Institute guarantees a steady stream of enquiries for candidates from mercantile firms, Government organisations and other institutions.
